clock, cock o' clock
so, you may have noticed that i created a banner to go along with some posts about the multitude of pof dates i've been going on. but i'm not feelin' it right now.
i am thinking more about other things. i had planned to go into work today, talk to beek and let him know that i'm looking for a different career, and then i would print off my resume and head down to the staffing place where i have an appointment.
BUT i slept in somehow. i did this yesterday also - my alarm is set for 6:30, but i keep waking up at 8 o'clock sharp. (the word "o'clock" has such great aesthetics. never noticed before). anyway, i'm not going to work i guess... maybe i'll go in around noon print off my resume, bolt, and have the talk on monday. sigh sigh sigh.
well... now that that's outta the way, i guess i could talk a BIT about the dating "scene". i was going to be specific and creepy, but that's probably not a good idea, because this IS the internet, so i'll keep it generic.
DATE LOG BLOG:
i've gone on 6 BLIND dates from pof, plus the dawson thing. i have 2 more planned (1 tomorrow, one next week), plus robert.
on these dates i have gone snowboarding, drank beer, longboarded, longboarded more, played pool, made out, ate ethiopian, said "retarded", drank tea.
i'm so NOT weirded out by meeting random people, it's crazy. i'm not really even nervous about it anymore. the only not great experience so far has been the "retarded" one, where he warned me he didn't like the word, i said it anyway on our (2nd) date and it became sorta, no... REALLY awkward.
